Free Yoga, Zumba & Crossfit!

This summer, the office of Cultural Affairs & Special Events (CASE) is partnering with the City of Lowell Health Department and local fitness instructors to provide a free outdoor fitness program at Kerouac Park in downtown Lowell. These free drop-in classes, will begin in June and continue weekly through August.

All classes are held at Kerouac Park, weather permitting. In the event of rain, classes will be rescheduled.

Participants should dress in appropriate clothing and footwear and bring plenty of fluids.  Participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to the start of each class. Parking is available in the Joseph Downes Garage on John Street

Kaleigh’s yoga journey began in 2004. As she welcomed the transformation yoga had in her life, she felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. Kaleigh believes the mind, body, soul connection is a sacred one, and one that should be nurtured and inspired. She teaches her classes from the heart, creating an uplifting and safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness. Kaleigh is RYT-200 certified and a Reiki Healer, Level I & II.  Through a variety of poses and conscious sequencing, Kaleigh’s classes will build strength, flexibility, and balance through stability, as well as provide the space to discover the sense of peace you are looking for in your practice.

Beatriz Edmonds has been a ZIN™ Member since Jun 2010 and she absolutely love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party!  She is currently licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba® Toning, Zumba in Circuit. Join her for a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. Guaranteed you will have a blast!

Get fit with Crossfit

Sean Osborne has been involved with the CrossFit community since 2011, he quickly developed a love of all the enormous benefits that CrossFit brings and dove head first into the sport of fitness.  Sean was an athlete from an early age, engaging in competitive sports to include wrestling, football, Olympic weightlifting, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is a Certified Level 2 CrossFit instructor and the head coach at CrossFit Lowell.
