Lowell's Regional Transit Authority can bring you from landmark to landmark without any hassle or stress. Conveniently located stops and routes in every neighborhood and district will easily get you where you want to go.
Make your rounds on Lowell's historic trolleys. Currently there are five stops, including Mack Plaza and Boott Cotton Mills, throughout Downtown Lowell to help you get from place to place in a pretty cool way.

Taxi, Cars and Limos
In downtown Lowell and beyond, Uber, Lyft and metered taxis offer in-city transportation from local drivers. Most all rides can be scheduled using smartphone apps. Easy access to Zip Cars can be found at the Gallagher Terminal and at UMass Lowell.
With the MBTA Commuter rail your connection to Boston is as easy as 1-2-3. Hourly connecting trains leave Lowell's Gallagher Terminal which is only 10 minutes from Downtown Lowell.
