Call for Artists:

Parking Garage Art Phase 2

The City of Lowell, through the Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (CASE), invites artists to submit two-dimensional works of art to be considered for showing in City-owned parking garages in phase two of our Parking Garage Art Exhibit. Works will be reproduced by the City of Lowell on acrylic panels suitable for all weather conditions and will be affixed to the wall of City-owned parking garages.

Call for Artists:

City Hall Street Art

The City of Lowell, through the Department of Planning and Development, invites artists to submit proposals for City Hall Street Art (temporary on-street mural) within existing striped curb extensions along Merrimack Street at City Hall and Cardinal O’Connell Parkway.

Public Art Permit Application

In order to install public art in the City of Lowell, a public art permit is required. The application is filed through the Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

Lowell Cultural Council Grants

Lowell Cultural Council grants are reimbursement-based and are open to individual artists, arts organizations, community organizations and municipal agencies.

LCC Grant applications are accepted September-October.
