Artist & Creative Resources

Musicians, dancers, visual artists, and other entertainers are invited to apply to perform during events organized by the City of Lowell’s Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Greater Lowell PRIDE in association with the City of Lowell is currently accepting submissions for the 3rd annual Pride Perspectives Art in City Hall. This show features the work of Lowell LGBTQ+ Artists and Allies

In order to install public art in the City of Lowell, a public art permit is required. The application is filed through the Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

Mosaic Lowell maintains a funding opportunities page for artists and creatives. Calls for art, grants, residencies, and more are promoted here.

Lowell Cultural Council grants are reimbursement-based and are open to individual artists, arts organizations, community organizations and municipal agencies.

LCC Grant applications are accepted September-October.
