Artist & Creative Resources

Musicians, dancers, visual artists, and other entertainers are invited to apply to perform during events organized by the City of Lowell’s Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Opportunity knocks at the Dutton Street Market! Creatives, makers, and artists are encouraged to apply for a pop-up space. The Market will be open on weekends from July to the end of December, and applicants are accepted on a rolling basis.

In order to install public art in the City of Lowell, a public art permit is required. The application is filed through the Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

Lowell Cultural Council grants are reimbursement-based and are open to individual artists, arts organizations, community organizations and municipal agencies.

LCC Grant applications are accepted September-October.
