Explore the not-too-spooky haunted house produced by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Lowell at Lowell City Hall, and trick or treat through downtown Lowell. Local organizations will be hanging out on JFK Plaza with kid's activities and candy at the Neighborhood Haunt!
After getting your candy haul and checking out the haunted house, stroll through Downtown Lowell for free carnival rides, food trucks, and live music. Fearless: a Taylor Swift Experience will bring pop hits to Merrimack Street starting at 2PM! Get to Jim Plunkett’s 4PM show early, and you may score a special Bicentennial hat. Don’t miss Lowell’s first drone show at 6:30PM, and dance late into the night with Booty Vortex!

Lowell’s First Drone Show
Witness as Lowell history lights up the night sky - gather in the Rockland Trust lot with your friends and family!
Synchronized drones take to the sky in detailed formation to depict Lowell iconography, celebrating 200 years of innovation, momentum, and opportunity.
Lowell’s first drone show, courtesy of the Lowell Bicentennial Committee, will begin at 6:30PM. Don’t be late - come early to get a good spot to watch!
After the show, stick around in the Rockland Trust tent to party with Booty Vortex, Boston’s finest disco band!
Accessibility & Safety
The City of Lowell continues to prioritize public safety and emergency preparedness. The City is actively working within emergency management to decrease the risk of elopement or wandering children, enhancing protections for our most vulnerable residents.
Family Quiet Spaces
In support of making the fun accessible to all Lowellians, family quiet spaces will be available to the public during the event. These locations are open to neurodivergent individuals, nursing parents, or those who may need a break. Pollard Memorial Library, located next door to Lowell City Hall at 401 Merrimack Street, will serve as a quiet space from 12:00PM-3:00PM. In addition, the Health Department, located at 107 Merrimack Street, will be open from 1:00PM-5:00PM
