The Rancho Tipico mural includes depictions of the Monumento de Santiago, an iconic structure in the Dominican Republic, as well as traditional merengue musicians, dancers, and, of course, a family enjoying a feast of some favorite Dominican dishes. Installed by Lowell High School students, the mural was coordinated through Project LEARN’s ArtUp Lowell initiative.

The installation of the Rancho Tipico mural was made possible by the City of Lowell’s Public Art grant program, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.

This mural is a part of ArtUp Lowell’s Arts and Culture Trail.
